Airflow Division is based within the office facility currently utilised by AVC DS Ltd. Airflow offers the supply, installation and support facility for air conditioned communications cabinets which are utilised in various business sectors.

Airflow Division have identified ways to improve the performance levels of networks that service all military/commercial installations. Airflow recognises that in the ever-altering networking world where numbers of users, networking speeds and bandwidth demands require the need for even more active communications equipment, this obviously results in higher ambient heat outputs.

The Airflow solution offers a bespoke communications cabinet which has been re-designed to incorporate a built-in air conditioning unit to prevent overheating of the active equipment. The unit is custom built to order and Airflow has installation rights in place with SSG, who are the only company accredited to supply Government furnished equipment [GFE]. The design and fabrication of the unit has indeed been patented with full compliance, warranty and design which meets the current Government legislation for secure communications systems.

In addition to this product, we can also offer a range of further cabinet solutions along with ancillary devices e.g. key pad locks, managed door access, etc to further enhance this product.

Additional Equipment

The client may require the units to be monitored remotely and via the CMC package this can be achieved in many different ways:

CMC package (door alarms and internal temperature alarm monitoring).

AVC will require the following information before a survey can take place: network dependencies, rack builds and any other cabinet or relevant site information.

During our surveys a specific environmental report will detail all our findings. This will include the following if applicable:

• Cabinet Active Equipment Build Confirmation by Site Contact

• Cabinet external/internal temperature
