AVC DS Ltd was formed in 1999 as a network communications company dealing in copper and fibre network solutions primarily within the military sector.

Following its first year of trading the company began to grow significantly both in terms of turnover and engineering excellence. In December 2002, the company relocated to its new head office and warehouse facility: The Solution Centre, Red Rose Court, Petre Road, Accrington, Lancashire. BB5 5JR.

As the company expanded rapidly, recruiting the best staff available, new innovative ideas and solutions were encompassed into the company portfolio. From the original network communications services and as part of the security niche a new Audio Visual & Security Division was formed offering: CCTV, Audio – Video – Swipe Card door access, intruder & fire alarms, voice alarms, public address and background music systems, TV and satellite distribution systems; a full comprehensive range of audio visual products and services.

In tandem with the provision of key network and communication services our organisation offers a full project management and engineering facility for a multitude of organisations in various sectors and industries.

With consideration made to our market sectors further lines of business have recently been formed to further expand on our portfolio. AVC Defence & Security Airflow division offer a wide range of intelligent cooling systems for communications cabinets of secure and restricted classifications. This bespoke and patented design has provided a solution to the long standing problem of high ambient temperatures experienced within areas that contain a high concentration of active equipment.

To enhance our already extensive turnkey provision a further division of AVC Defence & Security has been established. The Managed Services division introduces to our sector a completely revolutionary business and engineering ethos. It brings together well proven business systems and acumen which the AVC Group of companies has embraced through Business Process Lifecycle (BPL) and Gate Process (GP). Under the AVC Managed Services Ltd portfolio we boast a range of services such as Quality and Process Management, ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001, Balanced Scorecard, Health and Safety consultancy (CDM) and specific corporate training at all levels.
